Description of Site:
The Sacramento County Office of Education’s (SCOE’s) MOVE program is based on implementing the MOVE Program Model countywide. SCOE has utilized the MOVE program model for many years as an approved curriculum for students with severe physical disabilities. Over the last 4 years, SCOE has deepened its implementation of the model by designating several teams/classes as demonstration and training sites. SCOE is launching its MOVE Model site by highlighting 4 classes/teams that demonstrate different exemplary practices and variations on implementation of the MOVE Model within inclusive, integrated, and community based settings.

Other notes of interest:
The Sacramento County Office of Education is a public school which supports students at multiple school sites and in a variety of models. Students are between the ages and 3 and 21 years and have significant needs. Preschool students are included in typical preschool classrooms and the preschool program has been selected as a demonstration site for exemplary inclusive practices through SEEDS (Supporting Early Education Delivery Systems.)
