MOVE International Trainer® (MIT)

MOVE International selectes MOVE International Trainers from qualified and certified MOVE Site Trainers. Some of the selection criteria used are: 1) number of employment-based training events conducted, 2) attendee evaluations, 3) level of activity in using and promoting MOVE in their local areas, and 4) need for more trainings in a specific field, such as educators or therapists. These trainers, like MOVE Site Trainers, are authorized to conduct training and certify others as MOVE Basic Providers (training to use the MOVE Curriculum and Program directly with students/clients) within their employment base.

In addition to training within their employment base, MIT's also provide MOVE Basic Provider training outside their employment base when requested and arranged by MOVE International. MOVE International pays a preparation/presentation fee to the MIT conducting Basic Provider events outside of their employment base. MIT's must attend a recertification course every three years at the MOVE International Headquarters in Bakersfield, California.
